Begin by gathering all your ingredients and ensuring the canned tuna is well-drained. Place the tuna in a large mixing bowl.
To the bowl, add 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and 1 tbsp of mustard. These ingredients will add a creamy consistency and a tangy flavor to the tuna salad.
Continue by adding 1/4 cup of diced celery and 2 tbsp of diced red onion into the bowl. The celery and onion will introduce a crunchy texture and a slight bite to the salad.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences. Start with a pinch of each and adjust as necessary.
Using a fork or a spoon, mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined. Ensure that the tuna is evenly coated with the mayonnaise and mustard, and the celery and onion are distributed throughout the salad.
