From a blend of green Cobrançosa, Cordovil, Frantoio, and Picual olive varietals, this silky Portuguese extra virgin olive oil from Herdade Do Esporao is characterized by an intense and complex character, with fragrant aroma of fruits and grass, and a flavor that strikes the perfect balance between bitterness and spice.Reserve Herdade do Esporao olive oil for finishing dishes; a drizzle will add complexity and deep flavor to roasted vegetables, soups like gazpacho, bruschetta appetizers, and even experiment adding a few drops to fine dark chocolate for a unique twist.The olives are sourced from 600 acres of select family-owned olive groves in the beautiful, region of Baixo ALentejo. Cold-pressed just hours from harvest, this fine EVOO retains all the intensity and freshness of the olives. Herdade do Esporao has been crafting its fine wines and extra virgin olive oils in the beautiful area of Alentejo and Moura for over 40 years.
