You'll notice intensely fruity hints of green olive, olive leaf, and herbs in this bright, fresh olive oil from Spain. There are even hints of tomato and artichoke flavors. Castillo de Canena's Picual oil is buttery on the palate but with an astringent backbone that suggests thistle or artichoke. It's a fresh, early-harvest oil - excellent finishing oil for salad, vegetables, fish or meat. We can't think of a better bread-dipping oil to serve before dinner.
